Roaches are real hard to get rid of. They are one ot the oldest species known and we are talking thousands of years. Get hold of your exterminator and ask if they have a non-harmful treatment to use (without chemicals). They just may have since everyone is thinking "Green". Food /scraps/garbage attracts them, especially around the stove and fridge and behind. They lay eggs near their nest and those are the culprits. They also love this hot/humid weather and more are seen at this time. To combat keep the floor clean and counters in the kitchen. Stove burners are another food source as food spills down there. i've given you a few ideas; good luck!

Interesting question. Although ion guns are most effective against droids/androids and possibly cyborgs. I would assume it might actually have an effect on small fragile insects. Particularly those of the Trypetidae or Drosophilidae families.

i know the one you're talking about. My mum makes it in a bundt pan which makes it look pretty.

stale bread just soak in a bowl of cold water, put it in a strainer to drain out the water and then in a clean kitchen towel to squeeze out the rest. Put the bread in a food processor and pulse it a few times so it resembles like moist bread crumbs. Measure it out into a bowl. Normally my mum starts off with two cups of the crumbs.

ok so in a bowl mix everything together:
2 cups of crumbs
5 Tbslp of sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla and a good pinch of nutmeg
2 cups of whole milk
raisins
nuts
glace fruit chopped up
1/2 teasp of baking soda

grease a bundt pan with lots of butter and pour in your mixture then cover the top of the pan with some foil.

Heat the oven and bake your pudding for one hour and 15 minutes in a bain marie. (be careful coz my mum's bundt pan doesnt have a base that comes away but i know some pans have a detachable base and the water can go in)

a bain marie is basically another deep tray or tin filled with boiling water then you place your pudding inside that and put it in the oven.

a variation i like to do is add a handful of coconut to the mix.

Did you know that in the West Bank for instance the Palestinians do not even have enough water for their basic needs whilst occupying settlers have their swimming pools to lounge around in [ http://www.ynetnews.com/Ext/Comp/Article… ] See also link below. Where is the fairness? Now Gaza is in a worse predicament with regards to water. They could not use sea water of course and there is no desalination plant.

Also don't forget that whatever the Palestinians build or aid organizations build for them, the spiteful and hateful Israeli government destroy with bombs or CAT (the company) bulldozers ...with the blessing of the US government lets not forget!. Lets not forget the wonderful, caring and brave Rachel Corrie who was martyred trying to protect the home of a Gazan from being bulldozed by the Israeli authority. She so tragically lost her young life in 2003 in an act of compassion. She was trying to protect the poor people of Gaza whose homes were and still are being destroyed by tank shells, jet fighter bombs in the recent onslaught and bulldozers...May Rachel rest in peace and may her memory live on.

If only the poor Gazans could have a life let alone a paradisaical one with parks and gardens. :(
