My father-in-law has kidney problems, which has left him with only 20% of function. I know that the age difference is big, he is 76. He also has a killer sciatic down both legs, but the pain from the sciatic was gonna give him a heart attack. His Doctor put him on Lortab and a very high dose, in which he told him this would not effect his kidney's at all, I know because I was there. I am a CNA so I helped take care of him. Now they have changed his med to a pain patch called fentnal, again a high dosage 50mg's. It's always a good idea to get a second opinion, most doctors don't want to give pain medication anymore because of the growing misuse of these drugs. I know that alot of people don't want to use heavy duty pain meds but sometimes that is the only thing that will give you any comfort. Maybe try and see a pain specialist they are very cautious not to give you something that will affect your kidney's. I wish you well.

actually it does.The spiroketes pretty much eat away at everything causing serious issues in the future.plrease go to the doctor and have him take a look.it could be bad.

If you have kidney disease see your doctor and ask him or get another opinion. Some over the counter pain killers can reap havoc with the kidneys. Your pharmacist should be able to help.

My mother took noni juice religiously for years for fibromyalgia pain. She suffers kidney disease now.?

I Think Noni juice is healthy, but it wont cure anything.She could drink apple juice or any healthy fruit juice and save her money.Her kidney disease may not be from fruit juice,but best if she talks to her Dr:grapefruits have some substance in it, that can interfere with medications.
